So Fresh! Your How-To Guide To Keeping Flowers Fresher For Longer

Your guide for looking after your Daily Blossom delivery.
Yay! You got flowers!
The best thing about The Daily Blossom is that there isn't much you need to do with your blooms except enjoy them.
Below are a few tips to keep them fresh for as long as possible. The vase already has flower food and fresh cool water on the day of delivery, so depending on the weather, you shouldn't need to top it up for about 2-3 days.

The Classic
These classic, cottage garden inspired arrangements are full of soft petal blooms and greenery.
To look after The Classic:
• Keep the vase topped up with fresh, cool water.
Day 2 after delivery, use a jug or watering can to put water under foliage and into the pot. Don't pour water on top of the flowers, you will end up with a mouldy mess in a few days. eww.
• Keep out of direct sunlight.
Pick a cool, shaded area, with indirect natural light. kitchen table, entrance halls are good places.
• You Gotta Keep 'Em Separated.
Keep blooms and fruit seperate. Just like we all know bananas make the rest of the bowl ripen quicker, the same goes for flowers. Fruit emits ethane gas which will shorten the life of your cut flowers, so unless you are doing a still life painting with them...keep 'em separated.

The Aussie
The Aussie is full of Australian Native and arid climate blooms, it is a robust arrangement that is designed to dry out over time.
To look after your Aussie arrangement there isn't much you need to do at all! Thats kind of the beauty of it.

• To Dry
After approximately 7 days, tip the remaining water out (it will be a bit brown, thats ok), place it in a spot like before and make sure it is a dry spot in your house. No laundries with driers or bathrooms for this one for a few months.
It will take about a month or longer for your flowers to completely dry out. They will change shape and colour, thats completely normal.

The Forever
The easiest to look after of all The Daily deliveries, all you have to do is find a great place to put them and thats kinda it.
To Look After The Forever:
Dust
• Dust very carefully occasionally to keep them looking their best.
No Water
• Don't put any water in the vase. (you laugh now, it's happened)
Well, that's about it. I hope you enjoy your blooms!
